We have received a video from Ethiopia,
a small glance into the faces of our boys.
Elijah is a silly, silly boy!
In the middle of a group of kids -
smiling and laughing for the video camera.
Ohhh how his eyes sparkle!
Donovan needs his mommy!
While other little boys dance around with Elijah,
Donovan sits against the wall.
Still no smile,
no laughter,
it just seems like this little guy carries the weight of the world on his shoulders.
From what I have heard Donovan is a good big brother,
who watches out for Elijah.
I hope and pray he will be able to grow to trust us and
relax
and
be
a
silly
little
boy.
Isn't that what all kids deserve?

Oh Jodi...ya gotta wonder if he's on the "lookout" for his brother and choosing to not have fun. Ya know...being the responsible one? I can't wait until he's home and dancing with his momma!!
