The new me...

actually,
it's the "old" me!

See, a few months ago I looked like this -
including the double chin,
and wrinkles...

now I look like this -

ugh! never wore glasses in my life!
(besides sunglasses!)
(Ooops there's still gray hair showing -
guess I should wear my glasses when I color my hair!)

and now,
I have to wear these when I read
and I look like this -
(oh my, I have to do something about
those chins!)

I'm NOT enjoying getting old!!!

okay, so maybe it's not that little,

but it is black.

or so.

I need decorating ideas!
Please help me!

"Fine..."

I believe Jorja was very disappointed
when I didn't react in
utter dismay when
she announced to me,
(and everyone else in ear shot -
which is quite a distance when Jorja
announces something!)

when I didn't allow her the candy at the
check out line at our local grocery store...

"Fine... I won't be your friend then!"

Sorry Honey!
 your mommy doesn't get
scared off by those words.
(I've heard that many times from your
brothers and sisters)

My job as their mommy is teach them to
love God, others and themselves.
To treat others with respect and love.
Not to give into their every whim.

God's greatest commandment it,
"To love one another"

If we love each other,
everything else will fall into place.
We will respect each other,
help each other,
be patient with each other,
and want to serve each other.

Without love we are lost.

I love you Jorja,
and I love to play with you,
will teach you,
love you,
but before I am your friend,
I am your mommy!
