I'm in love!!!

Tonight I just received some more information
on our boys!
I will be reading this information over and over again,
until we get to hold them!

And guess what?

they love soccer!
and it sounds like Donovan is quite the little athlete.
I'm so thankful that though language may be a barrier,
we are a soccer family and hopefully
they will be happy with all the time that
we spend on the soccer field!
(next Fall soccer season will be interesting with 6 teams
in our family! - Can't wait!)
Donovan can count to 10 in English,
and 10 in Amharic.
Though Amharic is not their native tongue they
are being schooled and loved on from the nannies
at the Care Center.

Elijah is a cuddly guy!
And has a dimple in his smile that can stop people in their tracks!
Heart breaker!

They are both quiet little guys, and cautious of who they open their hearts too.
Please pray with us that God will be preparing all of us.

Sweet sweet news!!!

My dear friend Anna Marie's cousin, Devin, has been
in Ethiopia on a mission trip for almost 2 months.
Yesterday, Anna Marie received this part of the Facebook message from Devin!

This is sooo what this momma needed!
Thank you God, Devin, and Anna Marie!

... let me tell you... it is THE NICEST orphanage/halfway home I've ever seen! EVER! The baby beds are beautiful and the children are SO CLEAN and well taken care of! I was is absolute shock, it's so nice. There aren't many kids there, so they get tons of attention, and the older one's have the cutest little preschool room!!! I recorded them singing a song yesterday.

We are so glad to hear that the children at the care center are in such loving care.
Our boys have already been through so much in their short lives!
Ohhh we hope we get to see this video!
We did get new photos of the boys -
still neither of them are smiling - but they are posed pictures.
The boys probably had to stop playing to get their pictures taken -

who would be happy about that

accept for this little cutie pa-tootie!

If you want to read another tear jerker -
about a boy who is waiting for his daddy!

All personality!

Though I can't post any photos of our boys I can tell you that we grow more and more in love with them every day as we look at their precious photos! Their eyes are just so beautiful and they look like they will have many stories to tell us!

Helping us through the wait process, we received a tidbit of information on them!

When someone met them for the first time in Ethiopia this was her initial reaction to them.

They were both quiet and reserved.
(i'm sure this wont last long in our house!)

hey loved seeing their pictures on the digital camera,
and in video!  The oldest loved waving to the camera!
(We may have to get them a camera like Jailyn has!)

The older was more reserved, yet neither were particularly shy!
Just cautious.
(This is a very good thing!)

What stood out most to this visitor is that they were both very sweet,
and seemed like good kids!

 Love it!!!

The Lord is good!

Our boys!

I apologize for the delay!

But here is a wee bit about our boys.

They are biological brothers,
they are 5 years old, and 3 years old.
They haven't been in the orphanage for
very long,
less then a year.
They are healthy.
and
they are completely loved by
each member of our family!

Jailyn was looking at their picture yesterday
and giving us the "run" down on them.
Where their room will be,
what toys she thinks they need...
Jorja joined in telling us what
clothing they need.

We hope to make our first trip to Ethiopia
in January for a week.
This will be for our court date.
We will get to meet the boys and spend time with
them.
It will take another 4 - 6 weeks before we will
be able to travel to bring them home.

Our joy is overwhelming!
Thank you for your excitement for us!
Your encouragement helps with any of the fears
that we face as we bring these
two little guys home,
forever.
