Stinker turns 8!!

I can't believe my baby is 8 years old!!
He has grown so much this past year!

Miles loves learning and when asked what he wants to be when he grow up,
his answer is,
a scientist!
I love that he loves to explore his world!

He was awake way to early and couldn't wait to open his gifts!

Oreo ice cream cake with dinosaurs and lots of candles!

Trying to celebrate this kiddo with a way to celebrate this special day was hard due to
Coronovirus and lockdown/social distancing.

A dear friend invited us over to visit her horses and chickens!
We knew Miles (and everyone else) would love this!
What a beautiful day and wonderful experience!!
Thank you so much Theresa!!

That smile says it all!!

Sweet new friendship!!

Jailyn is our animal whisperer!!

Love!

Little chickens!
Now the kids want chickens!
Okay, maybe Mom wants them too!

Majestic Beauty!!

You know Donovan is enjoying his day when he possess for a photo! haha!

We love this sweet dwarf horse!!
Just our size!

Griggs took a bit longer to warm up to the animals - but he came around and enjoyed the day!

On our way home we stopped by a fun creek and skipped some rocks!
Sweet, stinker Miles had a perfect 8 year old birthday celebration!

Mountains to climb (literally)

Well, maybe not mountains
but they did climb!!

Shhhhhh! Don’t tell Laynee but according to her
medical records in China and the US-
she is not supposed to be able to do this!!
Shhhhh!!!

And climbed!!

I just love when I look over and the bigs are helping
the littles!

Kenzie was the only one who really knew what she was doing!

And climbed some more!

Don’t tell Hagan but with his back surgeries he
shouldn’t be able to do this either!!

Go Jorja!!

Miles got up twice!
An amazing accomplishment for my baby!!
He was so scared but was willing to give it a try!
And he rocked it!! "Rocked"it - Ha!Ha!)

This is family!

Jailyn using her muscles in different ways than she does at gymnastics!
She sure enjoyed ringing the bell at the top! ha!ha!

Donovan just doesn't stop!
He's so pretty!

Griggs will not be our done!!
Even though finger grip is not one of his strong points,
he did amazing!
And boy did his thighs hurt later!

We definitely got our money's worth as all 4 littles were able
to climb, as young first timers, for $5!!

What a fun day building memories!!!
(FYI - Elijah was at school and Conner was studying for his M-CAT)

Breakfast with Santa!

We are so blessed to be part of Laynee's school family!

Today we enjoyed the tradition of Breakfast with Santa!

We love hanging out and having Laynee show off her school,
and introduce us to her friends!

Sweet letters to Santa!

I was impressed with what each of them wrote.

Making Reindeer Food!

Photos with Elf!
Cause they are so cute!!

Love these memories!!!

Easter Sunday

Our Easter was quiet as we had met Kenzie and Conner
for dinner in Conner's college town on Saturday.
and I forgot to take a photo! #momfail

We enjoyed an amazing worship time at church!

After service our amazing Children's Pastor and team threw
a fun, fun party!!
Bounce houses, games, popcorn, food trucks, fellowship and a petting zoo!!!

Our kids thoroughly enjoyed Ms. Cathy's Critters
(She's famous around these parts!)

Miles, this boy just amazes us over and over!!

6 months ago he wouldn't of had anything to do with these critters!!

Look at him now!!

This makes my heart happy!

Laynee Bug!!!

Laynee had so much fun loving on as many animals as she could!!
Smiles all day long on this girl!!

Griggs was a little intimidated at first,
but when the crowd diminished he loved begin with the animals too!

Very impressed that the actually fed the llama!

Hagan is so serious!

He loves being with the chicks!

Sooooo gentle!!

Jorja is like momma and Griggs - no crowds please!

She warmed up to the animals from outside the gates and
got closer and enjoyed herself when there were less people!
Smart girl!

Elijah did a good job being gentle with the critters.

He enjoyed being in his own little space to pet the chickens.
(Lots of memories flooded his soul
through these little chicks).

Jailyn was in heaven!!
She even was able to talk to Cathy about a volunteer position!
How she loves animals!!

Asking her to leave this piggy was pretty heart wrenching!!

Donovan!
Stinker!!
Not one to pose for a photo - but mom will get one!

And mom has friends who will get me a photo too!

He enjoyed playing the basketball game!!

We sure had a wonderful family time with our church family!
