Is quitting a bad thing?

For the past year I have felt overwhelmed with all the activities
I have had on my plate.
It seems to be getting heavier and heavier -
rather than becoming more manageable.

I love doing all I am doing,
and all that is on my plate.

But at some point
I need to realize that
too much is too much!

This years New Years Resolution was:
To NOT do it all!

Our family is so busy!
I know many families are super busy,
and I guess other women balance all of this
responsibility better then I do.

I love being with my kids,
I love hanging out with them and their friends.
I love being with my hubby -
but that time is few and far between with both of
us having outside of the home responsibilities.

 So, putting family first
I need to scrape my plate and
re-organize myself!

Just wondering...
Anyone else ever feel this way?

In John 5, it seems as though Jesus healed only one man -- in "a multitude of invalids." In Luke 19, Jesus sought out one man in the midst of a crowd of people that wanted to be with him. If Jesus' mission required him to make choices, set priorities and say "no" at times to people with very real needs, maybe there is a lesson in that for all of us.

I totally can relate. Family should ALWAYS come first but too often, other things get in the way...sigh.

I feel you. I had to cut back on blogging. Sadly, I have no clue what is going on in the bloggy world. I have to settle for a peek in every now and then. Something had to give, so I completely understand where you are coming from. I pray you find a balance that works for you.

Blessings~

I love all the responses you have gotten. Seems today we have all over filled our plates and forgotten how to enjoy doing nothing!
