This is the looks we get...
the comments we get...
the sighs that we get...
Sometimes, there is even the...
"would you stop already?" comment.
(I think this is from people who like their comfortable life
and don't want to be reminded that there are
orphans in every country of this world.)
I don't feel like I am the type of person to always bring up
in conversation that fact that there are
in conversation that fact that there are
143 million orphans in the world,
but I do hope that people will
chat with me about it.
I am thankful when strangers
ask me adoption questions.
(I'm not offended, of course J and J are adopted!)
or when strangers stop us to tell us
about their grand children who are adopted!
I love to hear these stories
and love to hear that more children are being
found by their forever families.
I know I can't bring them all home -
but I can do my part.
And as God provides we will continue

Beautifully written. Have a splendid weekend!!
We are right there with you. I would love to fill our home with little children from all over the world. ;).
Ah yes, those questions I am very familiar with! What a beautiful way to look at it all :)
God's love for us is extreme, radical, undeserved, sacrificial, boundless. That's crazy! And, "if God loved us like this, we certainly ought to love each other." Yes, you are nuts. Hallelujah!
Jorja has on Ally's favorite cupcake pants!
