I surrender All!

All to Jesus I surrender;
all to him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust him,
in his presence daily live.
Refrain:
I surrender all, I surrender all,
all to thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.

All to Jesus I surrender;
humbly at his feet I bow,
worldly pleasures all forsaken;
take me, Jesus, take me now.

All to Jesus I surrender;
make me, Savior, wholly thine;
fill me with thy love and power;
truly know that thou art mine.

All to Jesus I surrender;
Lord, I give myself to thee;
fill me with thy love and power;
let thy blessing fall on me.

All to Jesus I surrender;
now I feel the sacred flame.
O the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory, to his name!

Have I surrendered all to God? Do I walk daily with Him?
This weekend I went on a women's retreat with our church -
this was the first women's retreat I had ever been on, and did
I learn a lot about myself and my God!
Learning is usually difficult - this weekend was fun and restful
in some ways, but very trying and tiring in many other ways too!

Praying for my fellow retreaters! God is working in all of us!
Whether we go quietly or with a bit of a temper tantrum - He will
guide and make His path known!
Love you girls!

2 Corinthians 4:16-18
16Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

That son was going through my head all weekend. I love the new songs but I truly love some of the old songs I grew up with.

Thank you my friend for inviting me to go with you this weekend.

Love you!
Jeri

Wow - sounds like just the kind of weekend I need. Too bad you're so far away!

How wonderful that you had such a great weekend. I'll be praying that you can continue moving along the path God has for you.
