Jorja seems to be trusting us more and more.
Lately, when playing at home Jorja has been checking in on me. If she is playing in another room, she will come find me - and give me one of her precious smiles and then run off again. Sometimes, she will stick around and chat, or play peek-a-boo. But mostly just to see where I am. This is good!
Today we were at the mall - and we let the girls play for a little bit. The play area was super crowded. Jailyn jumped out of the stroller and ran off - by the time we got Jorja unbuckled and she entered the play area Jailyn was unable to be found. Jorja looked scared as she was shouting "Jailyn - Meimei" over and over again. It was sweet! I ended up staying inside the play area so she could find me - she followed Jailyn every where and enjoyed it!
It is interesting to watch the two of them - sometimes Jorja takes the older sister roll and sometimes Jailyn does. I love just watching them and am so glad they will have each other for life!

What a great bunch of pictures!
We had problems getting Acer to sleep too, until we used the Chinese words, then it was like magic. Try Knee Sway jow le. That's Mandarin, but it might be close to Cantonese, or ask someone who speaks Cantonese (usually Chinese Restaurants are Cantonese)

I can't believe how much you updated. Where do you find the time. I just checked my other email and saw you sent me a message, sorry I missed it, you obviously found a stroller, I hope is maneuvers better than mine. We were at the same mall on Sat. I would have loved to hook up with you and the girls.
Let's try to plan something when you have a moment I have no idea.
Hang in there, Jorja is testing and you will pass with flying colors.
Love Valerie
Great to catch up with you all - I have been OOT for work for 5 days! Doug and the girls did great with me gone, but I think he may have been reminded how much work it is to do the "mommy juggle"!
Hello Jodi and Bryan and of course Jorja. I'm alive, just have been extremely busy since coming home with work, inauguration, and some family illnesses. We're doing well and it's always great to hear from ya'll. I miss our group and trying to reach out to everyone. Sounds like things are going well for your family. I really loved our group in China and plan to keep in touch. We have taken hundreds of pictures. Madeline just is getting over walking pneumonia which she was fighting as a cold for over 7 days and then got worse. Garrett is doing well and Gracie is a proud big sister. I'll write more later. You have a wonderful family!!
