Today in school we decided to talk about our brokenness,
and decided to use crayons as our example.
We used the broken, worn out, unwanted and ugly crayons
and made them even more broken and worthless.
Griggs was really unhappy to use the broken crayons
as he tried to draw his picture...
But through the warmth of the oven,
we pulled out fun, new crayons -
and through the warmth of God's love HE makes us new creations.
Though they are different shapes,
different colors,
they are beautiful and fun to color and play with!
And now that they have a different look
and shape -
they are beautiful again!
