wisdom

James 1:5-6
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God,
who gives to all liberally and without reproach,
and it will be given him.
But let him ask in faith,
with no doubting,
for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea
driven and tossed by the wind.

Our last day in China, in March, I was able to spend some time alone
at the hotel garden.
It was beautiful and peaceful.

Many days I wish I could replicate this in my backyard.

But truly it doesn't matter what surrounds me on the outside,
I can find rest in HIM,
as HE unfolds each day with new treasures.
Some treasures are just enjoyable
and some treasures are hard to get through.
I am thankful that HE is not surprised by a single thing.
Praying for wisdom as we desire to be obedient!

Why do we need wisdom when we are going through trials?
Why not ask for strength, or grace, or even deliverance?
For this reason...
Wisdom helps us understand how to use these circumstances
for our good and God's glory.
