Surprises from Hagan and Griggs

Over the past few weeks we have begun our doctor appointments.
(I must say Hagan and Griggs are amazing patients)

And well,
we found medical issues that came as a surprise to us.

We are incredibly thankful for our wonderful doctors who
are helping us and awaking a world
that our sons bodies have compensated for all this time.

Griggs has vision problems and has been fitted for glasses
to help correct his farsighted and stigmatisms,
he also has Lazy Eye in his left eye.
We are thankful Kenzie noticed that he wasn't tracking with that eye
and we got him in to our doc asap!

Hagan failed his first hearing exam,
and not to freak out we thought maybe it was wax build up.
But, I just didn't feel comfortable with that so we took him to Jailyn's ENT.
He cleaned out his ear...yuck!
but still there was no movement from his ear drum.
We went to have his hearing tested...
and good news - his inner ear is working.
Bad news - his ear drum is not.

So, we are making a plan to have tubes put in
and his tonsils out.
Because of his snoring we will be having a sleep study too -
just to make sure he does not have sleep apnea.

As we begin these treatments for our boys -
we still have our big appointment coming up
at a nearby hospital to go over their incredible dwarfism bodies
and what needs/can be done medically
to help them be more comfortable.

Prayers are always welcome!
I'm usually not one to worry about surgery -
but people with Achondroplasia Dwarfism often
have a hard time with respiratory issues during surgery -
so we are planning on at least one night in ICU after this simple surgery.
(normal routine for Achon patients)

This momma is having to learn again -
these children are God's and HE has this covered!

Matthew 6:26
Look at the birds of the air; t
hey do not sow or reap or store away in barns,
and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.
Are you not much more valuable than they?
