He's 5!

I can't believe that my baby is 5 years old today!

My baby Elijah has been in our arms

for 452 days!

And wow! 

How far he has come. 

He has learned to trust.

He has learned to love.

He has learned to accept correction.

He has learned to be silly. 

He has learned to be play.

He has learned to be a very special part of our family.

He has learned to share.

He has learned to take.

He has learned to peacefully fall asleep on his own.

He has learned that mommy and daddy will welcome him

in their bed in the middle of the night. 

He has learned to cuddle.

He has learned to regulate his emotions.

He has learned how it feels to 

experience unconditional love!

And ya know what...

He LOVES us! 

and we LOVE him!!!

Thank you Jesus for bringing Elijah home to us! 

We would be lost without him!

Happy Birthday sweet, sweet boy!

now if he would learn to put his shoes on the correct feet!
