A friend of mine asked a few weeks ago for prayer
for a young lady who had been told by her physician that
she should have an abortion because
through ultra sound they were able to tell the baby
has cleft lip and palate.
This child would have no quality of life.
I have to tell you -
this brings me to tears,
it brings my anger to a boiling point above any other boiling point
I have ever experienced.
Please someone tell me...
does this child look like she has struggles with quality of life?
does she look like she is hindered in anything she does?
does she look like there is anything that will hold her back?
Jailyn is an inspiration to me -
she has a personality that doesn't quit!
She is smart as a whip
and loves to care for people!
Neighbors call her the "dog whisperer".
She loves animals!
and they love her!
Please don't write anyone off -
because you think it might be too hard...
God has a mighty plan
and Jailyn is part of HIS plan!
Thank you Jesus for allowing us to be her family!

That about makes me ill, if this is a US physician and a cleft is all that is 'wrong' he should be reported to the state board ( even if the cleft is part of a syndrome incompatible with life a little compassion goes a long way)
Yvette - that was my thought too!!! Unbelievable!!!
It always stuns me that a “dr” would think that they can say something like that to a parent.
And, I would totally report him too!
I'm so very sorry...it is unbelievable!
