Things that made me cry... UPDATED

Just sharing a few things that make me cry

and a few things that have made me laugh

this week!

Here's a few of them...

Things that made me cry -
(some are happy cries some are sad cries)

1) my neighbor took it upon herself to raise funds for Gus,

she went on a scrap booking retreat and sold tumblers

to her friends -

she came to our door and handed us $153.

2) Baby E has families who want to be her parents!

3) Strangers who know just the right thing to say!
and are so encouraging!

4) When I have ever intention to go to the gym and
get back to my routine -
and I wake up sick- makes me want to cry.

5)When friends ask for prayer as they begin their adoption or
foster parenting journey!

Things that made me laugh...

1) Washing machine, car, and fence -

you know you are in the midst of an adoption when appliances break!

Satan loves to try to derail us from focusing on God 

and family!

2) Elijah.
Elijah is so silly and is being so cuddly lately!
and his giggle -
ohhh, his giggle is just too funny!

3) seeing my friend with her twin babies - 

and preparing her home

for her sweet treasures through adoption.

(okay - this just makes me giddy!)

4.) paperwork - 

okay, this should be under "Things that make me cry",

but really I am so happy that 

with each piece of paperwork that is submitted means 

we are that much closer to our son!

5)When friends ask for prayer as they begin their adoption or

foster parenting journey!
