I usually give my kids
a break the first week of summer break,
we spend a great deal of time at the pool,
and just relaxing!
Then, I drop the bomb!
Isn't it pretty!
(sorry for the blurriness)

Just makes you want to do chores doesn't it?
Everyone in our family has their assigned color -
they are welcome to do their chores anytime
during the week,
or day if it's a specified daily chore,
as long as it gets done!
******
I have gotten feed back from the kids that
they like this chart.
They like the freedom to get the chore done whenever
they have the free time.
I like it because they will get it done -
and I don't have to nag.
If they don't get it done that day or
week -
notice there are blank cards -
Mom gets to add another chore!
Ohhh - what am I gonna do when the big kids
go back to school?

I like this idea!
May need to figure out how to do something similar.
What a great idea!! Justin is already planning the day when the boys will be able to help out around the house/yard!! =) I'll keep this in mind!
love this idea - I just noticed in the past few weeks how much our girls love to help me and this might be a great way to reinforce this!
we just moved to the Plano area a week ago so maybe once I get unpacked, I'll get to this idea. :)
