When I see an airplane

Monday, June 20th 2011,
I took my boys out of the orphanage once and for all!

That evening I spoke with Yared,
Yared works for our agency in Ethiopia,
his office is at our sons orphanage.

Yared told me that after
we left the orphanage that day -

an airplane flew over head.

The kids cheered for our boys -
as they thought their friends were on that plane,
on their way to America,
with their new family.

The sweetness of these children,
though they

wait

and

wait

for their families to find them,
for a mommy to hold them when they skin their knee,

for a daddy to teach them

they are genuinely happy for each other.

These children are incredibly special
and have touched my
life forever.

So, whenever I see an airplane over-head,
these are the faces I see,
and the children I pray for.

Beautiful post! Such sweet little
hearts and all those precious
little faces brought me to tears.
Praying for them to one day be
on a plane flying home.

Ok girlfriend.....you are gonna make me cry on this one. Precious children who also need the love of a family!

Sweet thoughts - I'll do this too! I always say a prayer when I see an ambulance or police car in pursuit, but have never thought to pray when I see an airplane! Thanks!
