5.) Protect them from harm and 6.) Visit them where they are

Psalms 146:9
The LORD protects the strangers;
He supports the fatherless and the widow,
But He thwarts the way of the wicked.

What happens to the orphan
when they are left?

Every country has an age limit
in which the orphan is no longer
"cared".

What happens to them then?
7 out of 10 girls who grow up in US Foster Care
have at least one child of their own in foster care.

When children "age out" they are either put in
nursing homes or let go into the world without
any guidance.
(I have a 16 year old and 14 year old -
though they are pretty mature -
there is no way they would live long
if they were thrown out into the streets to fend for themselves.)
~
Maybe you could be an emergency foster parent.
May you could help raise money to help build
a children's home,
so we can get these kids off the streets.

6.) Visit them where they are
James 1:27
Pure and undefiled religion in the sight
of our God and Father is this:
to visit orphans and widows in their distress,
and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

Go on a mission trip and visit an orphanage.
You will help them
and your heart will be changed too.

 or
visit a foster group home or
foster family on a regular basis.

This will help foster kids to feel "normal"
and loved,
and you will be a blessing to the foster parents as well.
