Truly Blessed Tuesday

I  heart Teenagers!

This past weekend we had numerous

teenagers through our house,

some were here for a few hours,

others stayed a few days!

Either way, 

they are a true blessing to me!

I love hearing their social stories,

I love laughing with them,

I love allowing them to act silly!

They are the best!

I just had a conversation with a new FB friend,

we as adults often times disregard the teen. 

Trying to find a volunteer opportunity for my teens

(and their friends) has been difficult.

Seems people think they will be a bad influence to the 

other people around.

Interesting...

if we don't put effort into our teens

how are they going to be good adults?

If they don't learn to serve, teach and befriend -

what will happen to them as adults?

I have heard parents refer to their teens at their

"grown" kids.

I really don't see it this way -

teens a wonderful time of life,

but they still need their mommies and daddies!

Take the time to listen and respect a teen...

Take a moment hug a teen!

(Any teen will do!)

They may give you a strange look -

but believe me...

they will be back!

Given the opportunity teenagers will surprise you!

I Timothy 4:12

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young,

but set an example for the believers in speech, 

in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
