Pay it forward

I know that adoption fund raising can
give some people a bad taste in their mouths.
I really don't understand this,
but it is what it is.

We are cutting back on MANY things in our
daily life,
our monthly expenses were down a few
hundred dollars!
Movies at the movie theater will be few and
far between,
Eating out is not an expected event anymore,
but a special occasion.
This doesn't mean that we aren't having a good time
as a family!
Not at all - infact, we're having more quality time.
(even with our teenage friends!)

Back to adoption fund raising...

We appreciate your help in bringing our little guy home.
We have already been brought to
tears by your generosity and
encouragement.

We will Pay It Forward!
There is a tax credit after one adopts,
after this adoption is complete,
and we receive our tax refund -
we will match the funds that were raised
through your generosity to other families
who are adopting and in need financial assistance.

So thank you for supporting us -
and as you support us -
please know that your gift will be carried
on to others.

And so on, and so on, and so on...

April, That is sooo cool! And I believe the way it should be! I am headed out of town for the day - to meet Connie at http://www.k6comehome.blogspot.com/
I will email you and see if you live where I think you live ... maybe we can meet up this summer - we may be in your area! :)

Congratulations on meeting your fund raising Goal!
I have had some friends who literally can't afford to help financially - help with ideas for fundraising and ways they want to be involved. :) I love the experience of adoption when everyone gets involved! :)

That is such a wonderful idea! I love the idea of sharing it with others, esp when there are SO many children needing homes and the cost...ugh...the cost.

May you get all the money you need to bring your little guy home :)

What a blessing!
