"God Bless You"

As I was leaving a comment on a blog the other day I got to thinking...

My bloggy friend is having a rough time.

Okay, not a "rough time" -

because I know she is handling things

with beauty and grace...

but you know,

she was honest about a bad day

or days...

we all have them! 

Anyway, 

I went to leave a comment to let her

know I was thinking about her and her family.

As I was ending my comment,

I went to type,

"I'll be praying that God will Bless you"

and I stopped in my tracks -

These words led met to a wonderful quiet time

with the Lord.

"God Bless You"

Really?

He has already blessed me!

I now have the responsibility to allow Him to 

show me his blessings!

If I run around like a crazy lunatic

trying to get things done,

or being lazy not getting anything done.

This is my choice -

but I can not blame God for not blessing me!

Lamentations 3:22,23

The LORD'S loving kindnesses indeed never cease, 

For His compassions never fail.

They are new every morning; 

Great is Your faithfulness.
