Jailyn came through surgery very well.
Our surgeons are very happy.
And Jailyn slept - and slept!
Then she woke up -
and cried and cried and cried.
Poor sweetie!
Good news is -
this time she allowed me to hold
her and try to console her.
We spent the whole day snuggling!
That part has been nice!
We did get out of the room for a bit -
and went to the play room.
There were about 6 middle school girls
volunteering -
though Jailyn never smiled while in there
I know she had a good time.
And it wore her out!
We got back to the room -
and she was hungry!!!
First thing that she has eaten today!
only one cup -
but one is better then none!
She is resting well so far tonight!
Thank God!
- Amazingly we had the same day nurse
as we did almost 3 years ago -
and she is still ditsy and crazy!
I love our night nurses!

Thank goodness for the night nurse!
Hugs!!!!
I pray that your night was as good as it could be in the hospital. I've been thinking about you both. While we were in the hospital for Josie's open-heart surgery, those night nurses were amazing. Praise God for nurses!!
So thankful for an uneventful surgery! Praying for a quick and complete recovery, and lots of rest and snuggling for Jailyn and her wonderful Mommy. :)
Oh, yes, we've also found that night nurses are wonderful!
Praying for Miss Jailyn's quick recovery!!! Thank you Andersons for all your prayers for us!! Love you all!
